"Brody was an absolutely amazing person to work with. My partner and I had a very tough time grappling with the Portland market. We started out with Brody in 2018 when it was clearly a seller’s market and everything was selling either for 20k+ over asking or selling so quickly that one could barely do the paperwork in time to submit an offer. Unfortunately, the market got tighter. Two frustrating years and 13 offers later, we finally ended up with a fantastic house at an amazing price, too! Brody not only stuck with us, he got us closer and closer to what we truly wanted every time with the situation we were in. Ultimately, we ended up with an excellent house at list price. This would have been impossible without Brody given the unprecedented nature of the market in 2020. In fact, our offer was beat at first. At no point did we feel pressured by Brody. I kept telling him to let go of us because we were wasting his time and commission since we couldn’t compete with other buyers. For two years he never once stopped giving it his all despite not getting commission until recently. His response the whole time is telling of his character as a person: “My goal is to get you into the home you want. That’s it.” He is a man of his word at that! Moreover, Brody was always very honest with us. At times, my partner and I wanted to throw all our money at a house because of its aesthetics or because we were just tired of looking. Brody, however, stayed even-keeled throughout everything and would advise us on when to hold our cards. We avoided many bad deals because of him. Brody ultimately was able to secure a fantastic deal for both the seller and the buyers. He is very friendly, professional, and diligent at his work. I consider Brody a friend now too. We were lucky to have his expertise and intuition. As first time home buyers, we always felt very safe and comfortable. At no point did I feel led astray. Quite the opposite!
