Prior to his six years in real estate, Ben worked in the service industry as a funeral service specialist for 18 years. This gave him the tools to deeply listen and adequately assess the needs of others while also providing empathy and concern for their best interests.

Born in Portland and raised in Beaverton where he graduated from Sunset High School, he then attended Oregon State University before graduating with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Portland State University.

Ben keenly understands what it takes to adequately assess his clients' needs. He has found that being a good listener, paying attention to detail, and being honest helps establish a foundation of trust.

Ben and his wife Jackie make their home in the Beaverton/Tigard area, along with their kids - Madeleine, Carson, Caiden, and Baylen - and a very fat cat named Jay-Z. In his spare time, you can find Ben skiing, golfing, riding his motorcycle, attending Blazer games or cheering on his kids in their various sporting events. He also enjoys spending time with his wife in downtown Portland’s Pearl District as well as in local wineries in Yamhill County.
