She studied in Lyon, France, and now channels her passion for service into the Lake Oswego community. She’s served as PTO President at Lakeridge Middle School, Vice President on the executive board at Lakeridge High School, emceed the Lake Oswego School Board Forum, and is set to serve as Bond Committee Public Speaker and Captain for Lakeridge High this fall.

Mona lives in Lake Oswego with her husband of 17 years, James, and their two teenage sons, Kevin and Liam. With 22 marathons under her belt and counting, running is her passion! Completing an ironman is high on her bucket list. She's also a dedicated yoga enthusiast who thrives on movement, discipline, and balance. At home, you’ll find her cooking or baking with her family, alongside their golden retriever Nellie and their Maine Coon cat, Tabby McPurFace.
