Steve VanDermyden has been guiding buyers and sellers through life's biggest transitions since 1996. With nearly 30 years of real estate experience and licenses in both Oregon and Washington, he has built his career in resale homes, new construction, and exclusive buyer representation, giving him a well-rounded perspective and deep knowledge of the Pacific Northwest real estate market.

Known for his calm, low-pressure approach, Steve believes real estate is about education, not sales. He takes the time to listen, communicate clearly, and explain each step of the process so clients always know what to expect. Whether negotiating on their behalf or helping them through a major life transition, his goal is to reduce stress, provide honest advice, and serve as a trusted advocate from start to finish.

Throughout his career, Steve spent six years with an exclusive buyer's brokerage and five years selling new construction for a national homebuilder. He proudly serves clients throughout East Portland, Gresham, Troutdale, Sandy, Happy Valley, Clackamas County, Vancouver, Camas, Washougal, and the surrounding communities.

Steve spent nine years living in Hawai'i before returning to the Pacific Northwest, where he enjoys spending time with his wife, their two dogs, four adult children, and nine grandchildren. Outside of real estate, you'll often find him hiking local trails or traveling throughout the U.S. and abroad.
