Rilyn's real estate clients have described him as professional, trustworthy, dedicated, and patient. "I have always wanted to own a business. I believe everyone deserves to have someone who truly cares about them, and I take pride in being that person. Real estate is interesting work, and I feel as though I am always learning. I have a duty to be a service for others and I find enjoyment in helping people find their dream home!"

Born and raised in Portland, he is an alum of Oregon City High School and of Corban University in Salem, where he played baseball and earned his bachelor's degree in business marketing.

Prior to his years in real estate sales, Rilyn spent three years as a project engineer and worked on the manual labor side in excavation on commercial and residential sites. "This helped me hone communication with guys in the field and gave me experience in being held accountable for duties that take place on a work site where duties need to be performed correctly and in a timely manner. "He also works with kids in youth development. "I am constantly communicating with kids and their parents and following up with them. In the same way, I am big on follow-up and checking in on my clients."

Rilyn is a big reader and has the goal to read a book per week in 2024. He also loves working out, training and competing in CrossFit. "If not these two, then you might find me on a hike somewhere!" A resident of Beaverton, he favors the Oregon Coast and the hiking that surrounds the Portland area, including Forest Park in northwest Portland and also in Hood River. "I can easily step out and find somewhere to hike or walk within 10 minutes from home."
