Growing up in the Albany/Corvallis area, Brian Clendening developed a strong connection to the local community from an early age. After attending Oregon State University, he embarked on a fulfilling career in IT, dedicating more than 20 years at a local healthcare organization. At one point, he even owned a brewpub for a few years to experience the “Cheers” atmosphere of getting to know people and their stories.

Later, Brian made the decision to move to Wilsonville, where he has been for the past 10 years. Through God’s will, he found a church in Tigard, where he came to know Christ, truly plugged into the fabric of the community, and forged meaningful relationships that transformed his life. This experience taught him the profound importance of giving back and serving others.

Brian’s commitment to service led him to get involved in projects for low-income families, children's ministry, and even a church planting mission trip to Uganda, where he witnessed the impact of community and support firsthand. Most recently, he felt a calling to transition into real estate as a means of serving others—using his skills, time, or financial resources. Through the community he had formed at church, the Lord opened doors that guided him to a mentorship with a veteran broker, ultimately landing at Opt Real Estate. He views this as an opportunity to give back to his community by helping families find their perfect homes.

With a heart dedicated to service, Brian is eager to leverage his relationships and connections to truly serve clients in all their real estate needs. His goal is to expand his giving into areas that help further the Kingdom while ensuring that each client’s home-buying experience is positive, personalized, and rewarding.
