Chat with Jacob Crowder for a few minutes and you’ll see right away that he is sharp and likable with an energy that is infectious. Born in Orange County, he grew up in Central Oregon before moving up to the Portland area. (“I still miss the high desert, though,” he says.)

Prior to his years in real estate, Jacob spent his whole work life in the hospitality industry, which taught him hard work and the passion for helping people. After making the switch to real estate, he found Opt to have the best of both worlds: team structure and backing while also promoting independence, an atmosphere that enables him to best guide clients through the course of their real estate transaction.

Loyal, easygoing and hardworking, Jacob now resides in Happy Valley with his wife Amanda and two daughters, Scarlett and Daphne, and loves golfing, fly fishing and spending time with his family. Sampling the cuisines around Portland is another favorite pastime: “Since I grew up in restaurants, cooking and eating will always be in my heart.”
